Our daughter started riding lessons this year at Deer Creek Ranch and we are beyond thrilled with how its going. I grew up riding and working cattle so I am an advanced rider myself and I can tell you they have top notch instructors there. They do an amazing job at working with the kids and building their confidence. Its an enjoyable environment where you can trust your child will be well taught and not stressed. The horses are in amazing condition and they pick the right horse for your child. Their lesson rates are excellent priced and Id challenge you to find better pricing anywhere for the quality of lessons youre getting at DCR. We have nothing but excellent things to say about them and we encourage anyone who is looking for lessons for their child to give them a try.

I just had my first lesson with Katie. She understood that I want to become a horse owner someday and an avid rider. So, she tailored my first lesso to consist with the ground work with brushing, saddling, etc first before riding. I really appreciate that and can’t wait to learn more. I just wanted to message and say that Zeke and I have been so enjoying our lessons so far, and we are so excited for next week! Zeke did ground work Sunday with Apache and it was so cool to watch him learn and grow in confidence.

I’ve been working with Remi and love her! The first lesson I could tell she was having to scope me out a bit 👀 lol. But this past week, she rested her head on my neck and shoulder in the arena, and I could tell she was feeling more comfortable with me. She did great with ground work and letting me lead her. It was such a good feeling! Obviously, she’s an amazing horse, kudos to you guys for that.
