Jolene

Jolene is a 2-year-old Mustang from Triple B, Nevada, currently in training and showing steady, thoughtful progress in her groundwork and handling.

She is learning to stand tied, hard-tied, and in cross ties. Jolene leads with ease and handles obstacles very well. She is just beginning saddle work and is taking it all in stride.

Jolene is a careful thinker—she doesn’t rush into situations and prefers to take her time processing new experiences. She is not easily spooked and tends to assess everything calmly before responding.

She is currently living out in pasture and will meet you at the gate when you come out to see her. Jolene is very friendly and curious, often coming up to greet people and, even when not directly engaged, likes to observe everything going on around her.

Naturally inquisitive, she enjoys investigating new objects by pawing, smelling, and studying them before deciding how she feels. She loads and unloads well in a trailer, has started picking up her feet for handling, and is comfortable being groomed from head to tail, including mane and tail care. She also accepts fly spray without issue.

Her training will continue as she develops, building on her willing and thoughtful nature.

Nova

Nova is a 15-year-old AQHA registered Quarter Horse mare standing 15 hands. She is a well-rounded, versatile horse with experience across multiple disciplines and a solid foundation of professional training.

Nova received 90 days of professional training with Next Level Performance Horses, focusing on ranch riding fundamentals. She has the start of most ranch horse maneuvers, including side passing, spins/pivots, collection, and responsiveness off the rider’s seat.

She has been lightly started on barrels and was consistently running in the 2D/3D range. While not finished in the barrel pattern, she shows strong potential for someone looking to develop and finish a competitive barrel horse. Nova is also a capable and honest jumper, consistently schooling up to 2’6”.

She is experienced on the trail and has been successfully shown at Southeast Ranch Horse Series events, local saddle club shows, and 4H competitions over the past two years. Her most recent rider was a 14-year-old girl, highlighting her suitability for confident youth or amateur riders with guidance.

Nova has been introduced to cattle work, including exposure to live cattle and early work on a mechanical cow. She is willing, athletic, and continues to show potential in multiple directions.

Notes: Nova has been sitting for approximately one year and will require a tune-up to bring her back into consistent work.

She does have a dietary sensitivity and is allergic to corn, requiring a forage-based diet only.
